What this checklist can tell you

This checklist helps you gather the information a bank may ask for. It does not decide whether you can use Mercury, and it cannot promise approval. The bank makes that decision after reviewing your company, country, business, and documents.

Mercury application checklist FAQ

Some non-U.S. founders can apply, but the answer depends on the current country, business, and document rules. Mercury makes the final decision for every application.

Usually you should have your company documents, EIN, identity documents, actual business address, phone, live website, and a clear description of what the business does.

A registered agent address is for official state mail. A bank may ask for the place where you actually run the business, so do not assume the two addresses can be used for the same purpose.

Common examples include a recent utility bill, credit card or bank statement, lease, or government or business registration letter showing your name or company name and the address. Requirements vary, so confirm the current request with Mercury.

No. A complete checklist means your basic materials are organized. Mercury still reviews the business and makes its own decision.

Check Mercury's current Help Center and ask for help before applying. Do not rely on an old list or a result from an unofficial checker.
